Giving GEMS

The purpose of GEM is to provide nurturing and safe environments to our community in an effort to deter the rampant increase of gun violence. We want to stop our at risk teens from dying from senseless crimes. We aim to provide counseling and support for families who have lost loved ones to gun violence.

Giving GEMs is the idea of creating a lattice that is so tight and well formed that is unbreakable. The ideas we want to instill in youth, young adults and even adults are ones that cannot simply be broken, tampered with or tainted. Beacon of lights that shine so bright that they make the sun hide but stronger then the hardest known substance.

GEM stands with its community and we wont stop until we have reclaimed it. As we continue to grow and gain influence we really hope to change how people respond in certain situations so they do not lead to death. We wont let our community keep suffering.
